Program Overview
- FAA certificate
- Second step to professional pilot
- Flies using the aircraft’s instruments
- Cannot be paid or compensated
- Aircraft up to 12,500 pounds
- Carry up to 5 passengers
- Can fly day/night
- Can fly jets, advanced, high performance, turbo prop and piston aircraft
- Takes approximately 6 months
- If successfully completed, all training time accrued will count towards the FAA commercial Pilot certification
- Required flight hours: 90
